Meet Joan Gardiner and her homegrown honey. Little did Doug know he would be putting on the beekeepers frock complete with veil to take these wonderful shots of the honey bees and their Queen. The smoker gives the bees a heads up that Joan is there to check the hives, can you see the Queen? She is in the large picture with white marking on her back. These busy bee’s also have Joan’s lovely garden to buzz around with a view of a green pasture for easy take offs and landings. Hope you will visit her during the Bluemont Fair in September.
Congratulations to Tanya and Mike on their destination wedding, stalagmite and Stalactites, unusual rock formations, bottomless crevasses and mystical reflections, all fitting to a for those looking for a truly unique wedding venue.
Tanya worked on her perfect wedding day for 6 months, they rented a beautiful cabin near the Luray Caverns with family and friends staying in the local hotels in the area. The timeline of this wedding was in reverse as all weddings take place after the caverns close for the day.
